Theme Cake - Wine Box

I don’t know if you have ever seen the boxes of wine you can get? Well my mum drinks them (not from the box obviously, she uses a glass!)  So for her 50^th I made her a wine box of her favourite wine. She didn’t have a clue, and even decided to book some holiday off before her birthday, which messed up my baking plans, but it all came together in the end!

90th Birthday Cake

Big birthday, BIG cake!! This 12” fruit cake would last until Christmas and there would be enough to go around for the whole family, and maybe even the whole neighbourhood! It had been fed with brandy for about two weeks, all adding to the party spirit! The purple icing flowers make a simple cake classy, and from the feedback I received it was very tasty!

Ginger Bread House

It can always be Christmas with a ginger bread house around. But you could mix it up a little with it being nearly summer, make a ginger bread house but decorate like a beach house! Perfect for summer and just as tasty ;)
